- Glacier Group appoints Michel Brunner as Chief Administrative Officer -

Glacier Group (“Glacier” or “The Group”), the leading insurer and reinsurer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michel Brunner to the newly-created role of Chief Administrative Officer. Michel, who joined the Group as Legal Counsel in 2005, takes up this new position immediately and will report directly to Group CEO Robbie Klaus.

In his new role, Michel will be responsible for the Group’s legal & regulatory, human resources, IT and marketing & communications functions. He will also oversee all other business support functions as Glacier continues to expand its global infrastructure. He becomes a member of Glacier’s senior leadership team.

Michel joined Glacier in 2005 from Walder Wyss & Partners in Zurich, where he advised banking and insurance clients on regulatory issues, product structuring and corporate law. Prior to this, he was legal counsel to GE Capital Europe’s business development and transaction team. He was admitted to the Bar in Zurich in 2003.

Robbie Klaus, CEO of the Glacier Group, commented:
